Today we were excited to connect with our Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu Blogging Team.
Room 9 @ Marfell Community School and Room 1 @ Saint Patrick’s School
We used Google Maps to find the location of the schools. We noticed that it would take nearly 5 hours to drive to Marfell Community School compared to a 4 minute drive to Saint Patrick’s School.
We really liked the superheroes that Room 1 created and were inspired to try drawing them too.
Today we tried a photo challenge. Our challenge was to take eight photos with our ipad. Sometimes we needed to work with a buddy. We also needed to take care of our iPads when we were moving around the classroom.
Next we will upload our photos into Explain Everything and crop them. You could try the challenge too, it is shared on our learning site.
Today we were excited to see our Room 3 shortcut on our iPads. We can find our learning quickly and check our blog.
We also used our iPads to practise our letters on our iPads using Explain Everything.

Today we learnt to crop our photos.
Our tamariki have enjoyed collaborating to create a safe space for us in our classroom. We contribuuted to what we want Rūma Toru to look and feel like. Our feathers in our Korowai represent our agreement both teachers, learning assistants and tamariki to our classroom treaty.
We have some special things at home that are precious. Our pets are special. Some of us have cameras and toys that were gifts. We keep them in safe places.
Welcome to Room 6’s film festival movie. We have come together to save the day for one of our friends who has broken his skateboard.
