What are we proud to share?

Today Room 3 looked back at all the posts we have shared on our blog this year.

We know that every time we share online we leave something about us online. We call this our digital footprint.

We all chose a post we are proud of  and took a screen shot on our iPad.

We know to click the home button and the on/off button at the same time to take a screenshot.

We will use our screenshots to create in Explain Everything and share here soon.

Samoan Fale

Room 3 worked together to create a Samoan Fale for Samoan language week. We contributed resources from home as well as using natural resources from outside. Can you spot some of the materials we have used?

Faafetai tele lava!

A bike has wheels

Today we used the skills we have been learning to draw and then add text.

We needed to remember how to change the width of our pencil and our colours. We also discovered we could duplicate parts of our drawing. This was helpful because we only had to draw one wheel then duplicate it.

Ngā Whetū

Today we continued learning with shapes. Because it is Matariki next week we chose the star shape.

Next we used the duplicate tool to make more stars. Then we used the layer tool to order and group our stars.

Ngā Whetū is the word for stars.

Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu

By Jesse

Today we were excited to connect with our Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu Blogging Team.

Room 9 @ Marfell Community School and Room 1 @ Saint Patrick’s School

We used Google Maps to find the location of the schools. We noticed that it would take nearly 5 hours to drive to  Marfell Community School compared to a 4 minute drive to Saint Patrick’s School.

We really liked the superheroes that Room 1 created and were inspired to try drawing them too.
