Getting ready for the Film Festival

We are excited to be going to the Film Festival next week. Today we watched some films from previous years and practised building some comments.

We watched a Ruapotaka School film from 2018 – Living in Aotearoa

We paused the film at our favourite part. We liked all the different locations and backgrounds used for filming.

Next we took a screenshot and built a comment that included a greeting, an introduction and something positive about the film.

Where in the World?

Today we explored some pictures and video online We noticed some things that didn’t see right. You can take a look at these on our learning site.

Then we had a lot of fun trying to create pictures of our own. Where in the world do you think Nikyla is visiting?
